Kamica King is a singer-songwriter and international touring artist with a radiant stage presence and folk/soul sound informed by her Afro-Caribbean roots. A United States Cultural Ambassador & Texas Touring Roster artist, Kamica authentically connects to the heart of the listener as she dynamically ushers in connection and inspiration with each song & performanceKamica has been featured by the Kennedy Center, TEDx, Kerrville Folk Festival, and abroad, performing in Africa, Trinidad, and Colombia.

The Texas Commission on the Arts has selected Kamica as a Texas Touring Roster artist. Roster artists are considered among the best in their field, selected for this highly competitive roster by a statewide panel of experts.

Kamica is an official City of Dallas Musical Artist with the Office of Arts & Culture. Check her out on the Community Artist Program Roster under Music.  

Kamica is an alum of Music to Life's Musician Changemaker Accelerator, co-founded by Noel Paul Stookey of folk trio Peter Paul & Mary, and his daughter Liz Stookey Sunde. Kamica now serves as a Board Member.
